BEWARE... Before You Buy... - 12 Apr 2007

Please be aware that the item offered for sale by Pixmania is only the Kenwood Bluetooth Adapter and does NOT include the CD Receiver Head Unit pictured here.
Pixmania maintain that this is not their fault, on their website they clearly offer the KDC-BT100 alone for £132.
I guess that paying the much higher price from the other seller will get you all of the items shown.
When I gave up emailing Pixmania and spoke to their sales team in person they were very helpful and immediately provided a returns label. Amazon themselves have also given a complete refund, but clearly have not amended this item's offer page.
Subsequently I've bought nearly the same Head Unit and BT100 elsewhere and just installed it. My only comments so far (after one day) are that the instructions for the BT100 take some concentration to follow, since they apply to using the Adapter with a wide range of head units (so it refers to buttons which aren't on all units) and also, maybe as a consequence, it doesn't seem quite as easy to use as the Parrot kit I had in my previous car.
It was however much easier to install, needing only one connection to the Head Unit CD Changer input and then the microphone fitting.
