This works ok for me if plugged it into an extension socket (cigar lighter type). Otherwise it is really fiddly to operate the control and impossible to see/read the tiny text on it.
With a multigang extender I can access the tiny button more easily to switch until it hits the frequency that I have set up to receive. (I use 107.9). I get best results by having the mp3 player NOT too loud - or I get distortion. I put up with some hiss though.
