Beware of the short warranty - 11 Oct 2007

I advise caution before buying this. The manufacturers warranty is only 30 days and the one I bought started freezing up midway through booting up after 7 months. The response from the UK retailer (VR3 UK)? First time 'Nothing to do with us, go to the manufacturer' and second time 'Nothing to do with us, you could have broken it'
You have been warned - the 30 day warranty is there for a reason. I cannot think of the last time I had a piece of electronic kit less than 12 months old that I had to bin because it had just stopped working and nobody would sort it out
It does what it says on the tin - 26 Jul 2007

I've been using my VRFM9 now for 6 months or so and its a great bit of kit. I read a lot of reviews before I got this one, with all the usual horror stories, so either I've been very fortunate or the reviews are rubbish (probably the latter)! A quick note about the other guy's review, use of a USB stick is possible (as I do) it just depends on your make of car and where the cigarette lighter is positioned.
All in all this is a very inexpensive way to stream digital media to your car stereo with excellent performance.

It's smaller than it looks in the photo it plays MP3's and WMA's it only plays tracks that have DRM it doesn't like folders so put music tracks on the route directory its best if you use SD card as opposed to a usb pen drive as it sticks out allot (can get in way of gear stick), controls are a little tacky but other wise ok oh and it gets quite warm
