I CAN'T GET IT LOST! and I love Navpix - 21 Jun 2007

Easy to set up, Easy to use and a lot safer than a map book.
I am a Service Engineer living in west Cornwall and this icn750 worked straight out of the box for my route home from the Post Office. Never used Satnav before, but have used this every day for three weeks now and would be lost without it, it knows shortcuts that I didn't and the back on track is VERY good. Easy to Listen to, loud enough in my van. I LIKE the overspeed notification-- it makes accidental overspeed a thing of the past, just set it to a level just below the local cameras and it could save you a fortune. I drive a Citroen so have found an external antenna useful but not essential because of the metallised anti-glare windscreen.
I have mounted mine where the rear view mirror would go (no back windows in my van)and it's not obvious from outside nor distracting from inside,(after all you're used to a moving 'picture' there.) Just take the 750 out and leave the cradle, looks like a stick on secondary mirror from outside.
Use the navpix camera for different customers (Campsites, Hotels, Nursing homes etc.) with the same or similar names, just take a picture of the sign at the entrance, and you'll know which one you want from the favourites menu!
Only Navigator with NZ Maps - 11 Jun 2007

Love this navigator, I had some problems communicating with Navman trying to get the NZ maps before Christmas. Managed it just in time. I used the thing all round Christchurch and the North Island, road accuracy was excellent apart from the go to centre of area fuction which too often turned out to be the centre lane of a motorway.
Navpix is a toy and obviously takes you to where the photo was taken which is not necessarily where you actually want to be.
UK points of interest are rubbish unless you are looking for burger king or such like. NZ points of interest however are great with good restaurants, churches etc.
Highly recommended.
All in all recommended,
great features - fun and accurate - 11 May 2007

I've had this little baby for a week now and I have to say I love it - it got me to a riverside caravan park in Brighton that wasn't on any printed maps I'd seen, and being able to take a photo of somewhere and allocate it to the gps by lat and long means you don't even need to know exactly where you are to be able to get back there again. (plus it's cool to take photo's of your chums and use these as your destination markers to their houses!)
occasionally gets a little confused at double roundabouts (who doesn't) so like any satnav you need to pay attention to the map every now and again on approach.
WAY better than anything my friends and family have (garmin / tomtom) so great for gloating points too.
Getting a satnav? get this!

This is an excellent navigation system that does precisely what it says on the box.
It is very easy to use and extremely accurate. I've driven through France and Spain using it as well as the UK, and it does literally mean that you can leave the maps behind. It's that good.
All we use now is a route-planning map - the whole of France on one page, that kind of thing - just to work out where we're going, and let the Navman sort out the details. The screen is clear and easy to see unless the sun's shining directly on it, and even then it's simple to alter the unit's angle to minimise the effect.
Couple it with the traffic module and you have a system that will take you anywhere you want to go, and avoid all the jams automatically.
And the camera is a simply brilliant idea. A previous reviewer commented that it's just as easy to enter the postcode, which shows how comprehensively he missed the point - about this feature and others. There will be times when you don't know or can't find the postcode - a really good pub or simply a wonderful view - and others where no postcode or address exists. Just take a picture, label it and the Navman will take you back to that exact spot whenever you wish. Just as happened with mobile phones, my guess is that within a couple of years EVERY navigator will include a camera for exactly this reason.
Highly recommended. If I lost mine, I'd buy another one tomorrow, without any hesitation.

This was so easy to set up, I was up and running in about half an hour after taking out of the box (and I speak as a very mature woman ) I had looked at other systems and even speaking to other people my Navman is a far superior beast to the rest. It came fully loaded with English and European maps and was a doddle to use, the screen is very clear as are the voice instructions once you get going. It has not been out of the car since I bought it. I highly recommend this.
