This is a great sub for the money, I found it very easy to assemble and a doddle to operate! The info was basic, but so were the fittings. Listen, a srewdriver and 5 minutes of your time, equates to a deep rich base which is not in your face, and, is literally out of sight (behind the tv if your on a stand*)and it makes your friends enquire as to the sound coming out of the box. Its a richer sound, which feels so much bigger than the tv`s dimensions would have them believe.
All in all, a very good add on from Toshiba
* sub mounting kit uses the wall bracket holes, but, as it is a good looking piece of kit, you could easily use the fittings to fit the sub to a wall or corner out of the way, or under a wall shelf. Dont let this minor detail deter you.

This subwoofer really adds good depth to the sound from your wlt66 TV but:
If you are putting this on the back of the telly, it leaves no room for some quality Scart leads such as the Thor Scart lead and 3 way leads that plug into a scart adapter [...]. It only leaves room for the L-shaped leads. I've just got a Thor Scart to Scart, and have had to put the subwoofer on the floor until I decide to maybe try to make a spacer to extend the size of the screw in attachements on the back of the telly to allow more space. This won't be a problem with the HDMI inputs as they are in a different position on the back of the TV.
Also the manual is poor, as it shows two tellys with some unheard of model number. It also doesn't advise how to set the TV. I have set up the TV to 'Variable' sound output so the woofer's volume changes with the TV volume. This does leave the woofer a bit quiet though compared to 'fixed' which is often a bit loud and doesn't change with the volume. On the TV I have also set the bass boost to "off" and lowered the bass to leave the deeper sounds to the woofer, which seems to work well. Would have been nice if the manual suggested these settings in the first place though!
Overall, no complaints about the sound, it just could have been better implemented.

This Subwoofer From Toshiba is amazing, does exactly what its meant to do,Ive got A 32" Toshiba WLT66 LCD HD TV With This Subwoofer Added On For Extra Bass And trust me At 35RMS U Get Deep Low Boomin Bass.,This Is An Ingenious Design, only down side is if adding this to TV, is that u cant wall mount,Im not suprised , with this baby it would blow a hole in the wall, what with the sound coming from the TV 20Watts, and this as well, it is SOUND Heaven,,Ive been using it for A week now, and have the subwoofer only half way and the floor is vibrating and definatly upsetting the neighbours,Turned Up Full Then Prepare Yourself for A Visit From The Noise Dpeartment,lol..Ive got a panasonic SC HT855 850W Home Cinema System on top of this as well which also has amazing sound, so u can imagine how loud all this this especially when played in DTS,6.1, 5.1 Dolby Pro Logic II.
This Subwoofer definitely get the five star treatment from me,Im not easily pleased so if i was u take the plunge,U wont regret it, Trust me the sound is amazing, U Won't Be Disappointed.
